David da Silva is currently a mental skills coordinator with the Chicago Cubs and has been since 2018. David's 20 plus years experience have helped him establish mental performance strategies, tools, actions and skills to a range of audiences that include youth and professional athletes, as well as parents and coaches. Prior to joining Chicago David was a mental conditioning consultant for amateur and professional athletes at IMG Academy from 2009-18, as well as helping initiate the first-ever mindfulness program as well as leading the cognitive-perceptual program to help athletes visual strength, reaction speed and decision making. David is a Certified Mental Performance COnsultant (CMPC) with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) since 2008. From 2003-09 David was the mental conditioning director at the Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton, FL. David graduated from Barry University with a Masters in Movement Science in 2003, and at New Hampshire College/Southern New Hampshire University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
