About Cedric Rashaw
Cedric is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (Maryland, DC, Virginia, Texas, Minnesota and Connecticut), and a Maryland Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.
My clinical work experience spans 15 years, during which I have had the opportunity to provide mental health services to a diverse range of clients. From young children to pre-teens, adolescents to college students, adults to families, couples/marriages, and at-risk males, I have worked with various individuals and groups. I firmly believe in empowering my clients to achieve their health and wellness goals by utilizing evidence-based practices, outreach efforts, and serving as a positive role model.
In my current role at SOL Mental Health, I specialize in working with adults, offering individual, family, and couple's therapy. My therapeutic style encompasses a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Anger Management, and Conflict Resolution. I tailor these techniques to best address the unique needs of each of my clients. As a former college and professional athlete, I understand and identify with the complexities of the student-athlete experience.
